On July 14 2020, a meeting was organized between Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Hoa Sen University (HSU) and the Board of Directors of MB Securities Joint Stock Company (MBS), HCMC Branch. The meeting was to explore the strategic cooperation between the two parties based on recruitment and training needs of MBS and corporate relation strategies of HSU to enhance student experiences and train them to become highly qualified human resources.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Hoang Tan, Director of MBS HCMC Branch, shares the passion of MBS in linking with and supporting student-oriented activities. With the aim of continuously training and developing a new generation of competent securities analysts and brokers, MBS has been implementing many projects such as conveying career aspirations and sharing experiences in the seminars, workshops in collaboration with universities, and sponsoring student securities contests and events ... In particular, MBS is a leader in building recruitment and training programs for students to gain insights into the industry and technical skills required to become securities professionals. Moreover, MBS acknowledges the capacity and qualifications of HSU students and expresses interests in investing in potential candidates while they are still studying at universities.
On behalf of HSU, Dr. Tran Nam Quoc, Deputy Dean of FEB, highly appreciates the good will of MBS with regard to the development of students in general and HSU students in particular. Dr. Tran Nam Quoc affirms that developing strong connection with industry experts is a strategic goal of FEB for better training outcomes. This not only brings about meaningful experiences for students but also fulfils the key role of higher education, which is providing competent graduates for both domestic and international employers. With the position and prestige of MBS in the market, FEB strongly believes that the partnership with MBS will mark a milestone for the faculty's roadmap to bridge the gap between enterprises and universities, creating a platform for talent incubation and development for HSU students.
The meeting concludes that a strategic partnership, taking full advantage of each other's capabilities, resources and expertise, will provide students with a realistic working environment as well as improve their employability, especially in the context of the fast-growing stock market in Vietnam. A number of other cooperative opportunities such as operating a stock exchange at HSU, organizing seminars on financial analysis, and conducting scientific research are also discussed and responded positively.
Following this meeting, MBS and HSU will promptly take the next steps including seeking the approval from the Board of Directors and proceeding to Official Signing Ceremony.
